Fortnite crossovers never slow down and now fans of pop star Lady Gaga will be happy to hear that she's next in line to get into the battle royale.
Quote-tweeting her infamous 2018 comment asking "What's Fortnight?" Gaga announced the collaboration via social media, which is expected to start on February 22 in Fortnite Festival, but almost certainly will expand to other modes.
If you're out of the loop, the ever-growing Epic Games behemoth of a game is now more than just a battle royale, offering music and rhythmic-based game fans a spiritual successor to the likes of Guitar Hero and Rock Band with Fortnite Festival, developed by veterans of the genre Harmonix.
The first season was themed around R&B singer The Weeknd, with the artist getting two skins - one for the Fortnite in-game shop and one exclusive to the Fortnite Festival battle pass.
According to leakers, Lady Gaga will get a similar deal, with two skins available in a similar fashion to that of The Weeknd's. FNAssist also mentions that at least one of the outfits will be inspired by Chromatica, Gaga's last album which released in May of 2020.
On top of skins, expect other cosmetics to hit the store, mostly aimed at Fortnite Festival and tied to the battle pass, and of course, new tracks. The iconic Bad Romance is already in the game as one of the many featured songs, but expect a bunch more from her repertoire to be added as well.
Season 1, titled Opening Night, is set to end on February 21, with Lady Gaga set to take over the next day, February 22.
