While many GTA players are just trying to enjoy their remaining time in Los Santos by filling up their garages with exotic vehicles or working their way through the content of weekly updates, some are already looking forward to GTA 6.
After all, aren’t you curious to see how Rockstar’s next game might continue stories told in GTA Online, re-create Miami’s real-world nightlife or manage to feel more ambitious than Starfield?
Though all of this won’t be known until the game finally arrives, some freshly released financial projections from Rockstar Games' parent company have reignited fan hopes that a big reveal trailer for it might arrive before the end of 2023.
Do you think GTA 6 might be officially revealed before the end of 2023?
As reported by IGN, a press release issued alongside Take-Two Interactive’s yearly earnings report outlines some pretty massive financial projections for the fiscal years of 2025 and 2026, the former of which actually starts in April 2024.
Naturally, this has fuelled a lot of speculation that one of the new releases that could go a long way towards helping the publisher reach the lofty goal of $8 billion in net bookings could be the next entry in the GTA series and an accompanying online element.
While Rockstar have declined to confirm or deny the accuracy of any such suggestions so far, as you might imagine, fans on the GTA 6 subreddit are having trouble not letting their hype levels rise too high based on the idea of the game possibly arriving as soon as next year.
With this as a possibility, many of them seem to have concluded that if that were to be the case, the game should be revealed or teased at some point later this year, with a number pinpointing the 10th anniversary of GTA 5’s release, September 17, as the date they’ll be circling on their calendars in anticipation of this.
Meanwhile, others have tried to guess what could make up the rest of the group of “several groundbreaking titles” referenced in the release, with their ideas ranging from a remaster of the original Red Dead Redemption to a new Bully title.
Regardless of when you think GTA 6 will finally be officially revealed to the world, make sure to follow us for GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
