While many GTA players are just trying to enjoy their remaining time in Los Santos by spending all of their hard-earned cash, becoming a lifeguard in story mode, or going for a cruise to pay their respects to Ken Block, some are already looking forward to GTA 6.
After all, aren’t you curious what the next game’s map will look like, whether it’ll include purchasable private islands or what’ll be the ideal strategy for your first playthrough?
While all of this likely won’t be known until the game finally arrives, some players are still putting together wishlists of features they’d like to see in it, with their current discussion centring around which artists should be on everybody’s ideal radio playlist.
Which of these musical artists would you like to listen to in GTA 6?
This conversation forms the subject of a recent thread on the GTA 6 subreddit, which began with a post from user Jazzlike-Ad7654, who kicked things off by asking: “Which artist (should) be mandatory in GTA 6 according to you?” and nominating The Weeknd as their pick.
Their fellow criminals were quick to vouch for a number of other popular modern artists, with user GioVanTentacion opting for rapper Denzel Curry, s26538637 choosing Kodak Black and ducth_van_der_plan saying that they can definitely image committing a robbery while Rick Ross’ Hustlin' plays in the background.
Others went for a little bit more of an old-school approach, with user Nicholas7907 saying: “I don't know anything about modern pop music, but when we're talking about rock, I'm pretty sure that songs made by Creedence Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty, Phil Collins/Genesis, Queen or The Cult are very likely to appear in the game.” and TheManOSteel suggesting: “Hall & Oates. Almost every GTA has had them.”
User Senior_Hangkuk was also in the mood for some bands that have already graced the GTA airwaves, declaring: “I want V-Rock back!! Bands like Judas Priest, Slayer, Megadeth and even (some that would be) new to (the) GTA series like W.A.S.P., Razor, Exodus, Motörhead would be amazing.”
Regardless of whether you’re afraid you’ll be able to sing the entire GTA 6 soundtrack word-for-word the minute the game comes out, make sure to follow us for more GTA 6 and GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
