While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
Some players have recently been doing so by dipping into their ever-expanding fortunes in order to buy the game’s freshly unveiled 50-car garage and fill it up with interesting automobiles, such as the Toundra Panthere. However, it seems some think that the colossal carport might have been better off occupying a larger plot of land.
Would you prefer it if your latest GTA Online property purchase was located somewhere else?
Their planning permission-dependent proposals form the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user Interesting-Ad-2570. They shared a couple of pictures of buildings in Los Santos and suggested that these “would’ve been better” staging spots for the 50-car garage.
Aside from the established automotive theming of these edifices, with one housing Rockford Hills’ Luxury Autos car dealership and the other being the Vapid-themed site of Trevor Phillips’ purchasable garage in story mode, Interesting-Ad-2570 suggested that their main benefit was the ability to feasibly house 50 cars across two floors, rather than the five used by the current garage.
Some of their fellow criminals suggested some other in-game locations they thought might be a good fit for large-scale vehicle storage, with user 7deboutez7 saying: “Franklin’s garage from story mode would have been rad. My arcade is at the other end of the building.” and AdligerAdler declaring: “I want one in northwest LS. It's just lame that there's only one location and that it's just (made up of) five ten-car garages.”
Meanwhile, user Faz_Bert suggested: “(It) would've been better if it was a mansion in vVinewood that (housed) the current 50-car garage.”
However, user irv0625 wasn’t as convinced that Interesting-Ad-2570’s chosen locations would be ideal for properties, pointing out: “One of those is the Mors Mutual depot.”, while Prestigious-File-328 pointed out that those craving alternative storage for their huge car collection can try out the Lombank West executive office, which can be exempted to store 60 vehicles across three floors.
