While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict the next game’s release date, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
Some players have recently been doing so by dipping into their ever-expanding fortunes in order to buy the game’s freshly unveiled 50-car garage and fill it up with interesting automobiles. However, it seems some are more interested in buying the aerial equivalent of the colossal carport.
Would you prefer it if your latest GTA Online property purchase was located somewhere else?
Their flight-based fantasies form the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user Warden404.
They shared an image of themselves landing a jet on the aircraft carrier used by several of the game’s missions, captioning it: “It would be cool if the aircraft carrier was part of the map and you could fly there or buy plane storage (aboard it), much like (you can at) Fort Zancudo.”
Some of their fellow criminals seemed equally keen to fork over a chunk of cash to the US navy in exchange for a fresh place to park their jets, with user Km_Frenzy saying: “(It) would be awesome if they added (the) aircraft carrier to (the list of purchasable) services.” and AlphusUltimus quipping: “Everytime you take off it'd (be) a Top Gun montage with Danger Zone playing in the background.”
On the other hand, user speedster1315 wasn’t entirely convinced, pointing out: “The major issue is how (they) would handle the stored aircraft on the main deck? Wouldn't griefers just destroy all of them?”, prompting Warden404 to suggest: “You could have them be brought down into the ship or just have them become a part of the deck so they can't be destroyed.”
Meanwhile, user jtrom93 declared their intense opposition to the idea, declaring: “The waters around LS are already crowded with yachts and submarines. Tossing in aircraft carriers to the mix would just make things completely absurd. I don't want Vespucci Beach looking like D-Day.”
Regardless of whether you’re sick of having to weave around yachts and watch out for speedboats during your relaxing ocean swims, make sure to follow us for more GTA 6 and GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
