While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
For example, some players who aren’t digging into the taxi work that Rockstar has recently added to it, cosplaying as Spiderman or organising pranks have been gathering together to host chaotic demolition derbies.
Have you ever done something like this with your GTA Online heist buddies?
Their car-based carnage forms the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user MickeyMau55, who shared an array of snaps they’d taken during the chaos, revealing: “I took some photos during our crew's recent demolition derby. We had 20 people using NPC cars behind the casino. Good times.”
Judging from the pictures, it looks as though the gang’s attempt to bash several SUVs, sedans and even some police cars into slightly less aerodynamic shapes was pretty successful, leaving the dirt-filled enclosure in which it was staged strewn with crumpled bodywork. MickeyMau55 also shared a link to some snaps they’d taken at the car meetup that took place prior to the derby.
Their fellow players were pretty impressed by the destructive display, with user NeedForMadnessAuto saying: “I’ve always loved demolition derbies, which (the) Arena War (update) couldn't do properly. I (also) miss the ‘Kings Of Crash’ tv show (from) 2013.”, to which MickeyMau55 responded: “Agreed! They could have done something similar with the Arena War update. Something similar to Wreckfest would have been cool.”
Meanwhile, a number of them expressed a desire to join up with the crew and get involved in future hijinks.
