While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict the next game’s release date, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
Some players have recently been doing so by replaying the currently buffed Contract update missions in order to earn the cash required to buy a 50-car garage and fill it up with interesting automobiles. However, it seems they’ve had to resort to some interesting tactics to avoid being upset by Dr Dre’s unskippable cutscenes.
Have you replayed the GTA Online missions involving Dr Dre yet?
Their cinematic-based capers form the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user Adat81, who simply asked: “What’ve (you been) doing during that long Dr Dre cutscene?”
An array of fellow criminals quickly revealed what they’ve been doing instead of re-watching the rapper’s interaction with the GTA Online protagonist, with some of their suggestions being very interesting, to say the least.
“When the cutscene started I took 15-30 years to make a career for myself, marry someone (and) have 3 kids who have now gone off to college while I settle down with my husband in retirement.” declared user Drivergamer127, while mIster--WrencH suggested that they’ve been: “Getting a cold beer and standing barefoot in the garden, looking up at the stars.”
Meanwhile, some players offered slightly more mundane answers, with Mojo_Mitts saying: “Browsing Reddit / YouTube”, anonymous_syndrome asserting: “Stretching and doing some pull ups” and Interesting_Tree6892 adding: “Cleaning my apartment five minutes at a time.”
Others suggested that the scene presents a good opportunity to answer the call of nature, though user Krommerxbox argued that this wouldn’t take anywhere near the entire duration of the cinematic, saying: “Even at 56, I'm healthy enough that such a thing is usually done in under a couple of minutes.”
Regardless of whether you’ve been taking an eternity to wash your hands in the hope that you’ll be able to dive straight into a mission when you’re done, make sure to follow us for more GTA 6 and GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
