While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting up to wacky hijinks and spending all of their hard-earned cash.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what or who it should include, and have given up agonising over how you’ll earn back your current fortune if the new game includes tax mechanics, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
In the case of some GTA players, this enjoyment is coming from the Halloween-themed events currently taking place in the game, though for others, some slightly more unorthodox activities have been on the itinerary.
Have you got any unusual GTA Online hobbies?
These exploits are the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user MeIsNoob_XD, who shared that they’ve been enjoying getting behind the wheel of a bus and giving random players rides to where they need to go, before asking what their fellow criminals do in their spare time.
A few of these GTA stans responded by detailing similar ideas, with user ghosstracing revealing that they love serving as a getaway driver by: “pulling up to people who are trying to flee the heat in trashed vehicles and picking them up.”
On the other hand, a few users suggested that they’re trying to get into the X Games in between heists, with user dino_face saying: “I just recently discovered how fun going to different parks and practising different tricks and runs with the BMX is. (I’ve) bought apartments or garages next to most of them so I can spawn in and get to riding.”
User DJTERMINATOR_843 has taken to a rather different sport, declaring their adoration of golf and adding: “Me and my friends used to play all the time to unwind after a firefight, discuss business deals, talk about life, whatever.”
Meanwhile, user kentushtis suggested that MeIsNoob_XD is far from the first GTA player to develop an affinity for public transport, saying: “(When I) was fresh out of the tutorial, a high level pulled up (next to me) honking in a bus. He drove me around to all the must-do low-level (jobs). Fond memories.”
