While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6’s eventual arrival, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.
For those returning to the game for the first time in a few years, this can mean grinding up money by blasting through heists and Nightclub sales missions with reckless abandon and also getting behind the wheel for a couple of well-paying races once in a while.
Given how much effort and dedication all of those activities can take, it’s no surprise that some of GTA’s richest criminals can be pretty paranoid about their hard-earned wonga, especially if it’s prone to disappearing suddenly, as has happened to one player on Reddit.
Have you ever spent a GTA Online session wondering where all of your spare cash went?
Their misfortune is the subject of a recent thread in the GTA Online subreddit which began with a post by the player in question, user Koszelus, who shared an image of their office looking rather more tidy than usual and captioned it: “Why did all the money from my office disappear? The (bills) that were laying on the floor?”
Naturally, their fellow players were quick to suggest possible reasons for the dough’s departure, with user kapi0118 saying: “(the) cleaning staff took it as a tip”, ileptic proposing that the office may have been visited by a tax collector and No_Order1973 wondering: “(Did) your ex take it all?”
Others were less diplomatic, simply insinuating that Koszelus must be a little short on funds, while user Rocknstone2thebone mused: “You silly goose, you don't remember buying the Luxor Deluxe?”
Unfortunately for Koszelus, it turns out the issue of whether the money on the office floor spawns is semi-related to having a bank account filled with cobwebs, with user VanettiNero explaining that its presence is based on both how flush you currently are and how much profit you’ve earned from agency crate sales.
That said, there is supposedly a bug that can also cause the money not to appear in the office if it’s being used as a spawn point, leading user SrgManatee to recommend: “Just exit the building and walk back in or don't use it as a spawn point if you want to walk in to admire your messy office.”
