While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6’s eventual arrival, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.
For those returning to the game for the first time in a few years, this can mean grinding up money by blasting through heists and Nightclub sales missions with reckless abandon, but for others, it seems to involve some rather hardcore roleplaying and a smattering of wacky hijinks.
The latter of these is exactly what one player on Reddit has been engaging in, with their rather pointless drive leading others to recall their zaniest in-game moments.
What’s the most pointless thing you’ve done in GTA Online?
This discussion is the subject of a recent thread in the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post by user actionfigure777, who shared an image of a bulldozer parked outside of the Diamond Casino, captioning it: “Dumbest (stuff) you’ve done? I just drove this (hunk of junk) from Paleto Bay to (the) Casino.”
Naturally, their fellow players were quick to supply an array of questionable acts they’ve committed over the years, such as user _dudepare_, who confessed to having invested in a custom horn for their Toreador, only to learn that, in that particular car, the horn button fires the missiles.
User SirRavian’s tale, on the other hand, didn’t involve a regrettable purchase, with them instead saying: “You know that big orange glowing ball on top of that shack in Sandy Shores, across from the weed farm? Yeah, I tried to roll it to Los Santos.”, prompting Jeramiework to say of their orange ball exploits: “I've made it to the city twice, but had no idea what to do with it when I got there.”
Meanwhile, user CrewTree’s story seemed like the next evolutionary step in actionfigure777’s plan, with them revealing: “I’ve driven the big dump truck to the casino and blocked everything. Took forever to get there.”
Amongst all of these retellings were a few users who simply wished to express their appreciation for actionfigure777’s achievement, with user Mitsu_96 declaring: “That's not dumb, that's impressive. The amount of patience required aside, I'm more surprised that you weren't blown up on your way especially since it's a public lobby.”
