While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting up to wacky antics and spending all of their hard-earned cash.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what or who it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
However, it seems that some players are still on the grind trying to make a quick buck, with one possibly having earned the worst Uber review of all time in their efforts to do so.
Have you ever done something this heinous during a GTA delivery?
Their actions are the subject of a thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from the player in question, user sw1nky, who shared a clip of them being cut off by another car and then blowing it up in retaliation, just as it pulled into the same driveway they were dropping a VIP off in.
Some of their fellow criminals were quick to point out that this rash move might not have been the best to make, with user datbluboi2233153 saying: “Dude casually blows up the family of his passenger.” and 3451238 adding: “(The VIP’s) gonna be wondering where his wife and kids are when he wakes up.”
Having realised their error, sw1nky responded to these accusations with a grimacing emoji, though some users were quick to try and reassure them that this may not be the end of their taxi driving days. Otono_Wolff reasoned: “You promised Tony to bring the VIP home safely. That didn't include his wife and kids.” and fulento42 suggested: “He won't care. His car arrived nearly unharmed.”
That last idea might not be too far-fetched, with a number of players pointing out that the VIP hadn’t seemed too bothered by the whole incident, including user owlyboi, who mused: “(I) love how the slightest bump on the car goes towards filling the bar up to wake the VIP, but an exploding car barely ten feet away (leaves him) still fast asleep.”
Meanwhile, user _Arkbird_ shared their own story in order to demonstrate how oblivious VIPs can be to anything that isn’t speeding, recalling: “I had someone shoot me dead three times while (I was) trying to get a VIP to the hospital, and there was no movement on the bar at all. VIPs are something else.”
Regardless of whether you’re currently trying to transport a VIP through the warzone that is Los Santos without running any red lights, make sure to follow us for more GTA 6 and GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
