If you count yourself among the League of Legends elite, alongside streamers like Tyler1, you’re probably enjoying this year’s World Championship so far, especially with a freshly redesigned trophy up for grabs.
One of the big headlines heading into 2022’s edition of the tournament was the involvement of Lil Nas X both as the composer of its theme song and as not quite League president.
Now, your chance to grab a champion skin co-designed by the star of Old Town Road is nigh.
Are you excited to try and get your hands on this rare skin?
The skin in question is the prestige edition of the launch skin for new champion K’Sante, officially titled ‘Prestige Empyrean K'Sante’ and debuts alongside K’Sante himself today in public beta play.
It won’t be staying there forever though, releasing fully on November 3 and being acquireable through earring 2k Worlds 2022 tokens by playing League and Teamfight Tactics during their Worlds 2022 events.
If you can’t grind up those tokens by the November 14 cutoff date, you'll unfortunately be out of luck for now, though you will still be able to appreciate the skin’s cool aesthetic via the video below:
If you miss out on the rare skin, you can still enjoy playing as K’Sante, who seems like a good champion to pick if you enjoy playing as a top lane tank that has to protect teammates and face off against the enemy’s toughest warriors.
Even if he might not be your cup of tea in the long term, he might be worth giving a try just to experiment with his unique abilities, which are focused around using weapons made from monster hide and bone to kick back and slow down enemies, as well as using swift movement to gain an advantage on them.
Regardless of whether you’re going to be maining K’Sante for the foreseeable future, make sure to follow us for more League of Legends updates as new patches and characters arrive.
