The official LEGO Star Wars Twitter confirmed that the game has gone gold, thanking the devs and even telling fans what the phrase means. Now that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has gone gold, fans should expect the title to arrive on time when it launches on April 5.

Polygon reported on how the devs at TT Games were forced to crunch to complete LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga when the game’s official release date was made official. The news of crunch culture to make this game possible is unfortunately common practice in the gaming industry.
Earlier this week sources told VGC that LEGO does not intend to extend the terms of its exclusivity deal with TT Games.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch on April 5. A remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is also in the works for PS5 and PC.
