Persona 3 Reload is a pretty comprehensive package, but many fans were disappointed when Atlus confirmed that features from FES and Portable wouldn’t be in the remake. While fans of the female protagonist are stuck with Portable, rumours claim that FES content is coming to Reload as DLC.

Midori, a prominent Atlus leaker, has claimed that The Answer will be coming to Reload as DLC, alongside other content. The leaker says that there are multiple DLC packs planned, though no details were given beyond bringing back The Answer from FES.

For those unfamiliar with FES, The Answer was an epilogue that took place after the main game, making it a worthy contender for DLC. While making it Persona 3 Reload DLC is a bit scummy, Atlus is just repeating history here, as they made fans buy the game twice back in the day just to get said epilogue.

Before fans of the female protagonist get too excited, Midori said there are currently no plans to add her to the remake as DLC. Although the leaker did say cosmetics and music would be part of the DLC plans, it seems fans of FeMC have been burned once again.

There’s always a chance that Atlus is saving FeMC for another Persona 3 Reload release, especially with rumours of a Switch 2 version coming. Ports like these tend to be “complete” and add new features, so we wouldn’t be surprised if FeMC ends up getting added through this. It’s a pretty scummy method, but one that has done wonders for Atlus over the years.

Even without the DLC, this remake has a lot of interest from fans, thanks to the various improvements carried over from Persona 5. Aside from the improved visuals, the game’s battle system has also been adjusted so that killing shadows is much more enjoyable.
