With The Game Awards happening next week, host Geoff Keighley has revealed that Marvel's Shang-Chi himself, Simu Liu, will be a presenter in this year's awards ceremony.
Keighley announced Liu's participation in the much-awaited event on Twitter, welcoming "my fellow Canadian" and calling Liu a "big-time gamer." While some fans believe presenters should be comprised of game developers and creators, others have welcomed this addition.

Shang-Chi's Simu Liu Will Be A Presenter In The Game Awards 2021
Liu starred in the recent Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings which reached total gross box-office sales of $431.6 million. As reported by Nintendo Life, Liu is said to "enjoy titles like League of Legends, Halo, Animal Crossing, and more."
The Game Awards will be live-streamed this December 9th from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. TItles such as Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, and Deathloop are nominated for the coveted Game of the Year award. Make sure to follow us for more gaming news and updates as it happens.
