If you’re a big Star Wars fan, odds are you’ve spent the last few days delving into the freshly released entry in Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi series.
For those lucky enough to have avoided having your playing sessions disrupted too badly by the array of performance-related issues that plagued the launch version of the game, there’ll have been more than enough planets to explore and bosses to battle to keep you occupied even if you’ve been playing from dawn until dusk.
However, it seems that a lot of Jedi have also had a chance to put these adventures on hold for a bit and peruse the game’s array of customisation options, leading to some interesting fits for the traditionally poncho-loving Cal Kestis.
Have you gone for something wacky or lore-friendly when outfitting Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?
Many of these galactic guises have been posted on the subreddit r/fallenorder, such as user mathissalicath77’s attempt at bringing the mystery-solving talents of Norville Rogers to a galaxy far, far away via the creation of “Sha'a Gi”, a version of Cal with a penchant for green attire and, we assume, whatever treats Turgle enjoys.
Meanwhile, user papapudding opted for a look that would ensure Cal looks the part when launching bolts at enemies with his blaster, creating a grizzled “space cowboy” that their fellow force-wielders thought wouldn't look out of place in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Another interesting submission is user Saal_BI’s transformation of Cal into the spitting image of Breaking Bad’s Walter White via a goatee and buzz cut combo that’d intimidate even the shadiest of smugglers the Mos Eisley Cantina has to offer.
On the other hand, some players have gone for costumes that don’t look quite so incongruous, such as user WillingnessFar6852’s attempt at recreating Luke Skywalker’s workout gear from Dagobah.
If you’ve been having a bit of trouble finding the garments necessary to cosplay as your favourite jedi from the big screen, it looks as though the game’s PC modding community, currently only in its infancy, might soon be able to offer you some breathtaking creations.
For now, you can check out modder god781254’s costumes inspired by the likes of Darth Maul or ZLANCO’s new colour options for vanilla outfits.
Regardless of whether you’ve given up on trying to choose between Shattered Moon and Stone Spires to spend hours playing dress-up instead, make sure to check out the massive array of helpful guides we’ve created about everything from customisation to boss battles, which can aid your quest to become a Jedi master.
