Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has essentially told us that Brainiac is the game’s main villain, though we still haven’t officially seen him. That ends today, as leaks have revealed what the DC villain will look like in the game and it’s an interesting redesign, to say the least.
A post on the game’s subreddit revealed what Brainiac is going to look like in Kill the Justice League and he looks more alien than ever. While the character’s redesign retains a lot of his imagery from the comics, the more alien-like face does differentiate it, albeit, only a little.
Fans in the game’s subreddit have mixed opinions about his new look in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Some fans like how alien he looks, while others want to see his brain like in the comics and other interpretations.
“Bold design choice. I kinda like how the chose to forgo the green for once,” says Eternal-Storm50.
“Looks like Voldemort has some nose competition xD,” hilariously said freefallking.
“I prefer his Injustice 2 design but this isn't bad,” rightfully said by Berke85.
Brainiac is a character who has been tormenting Superman since the late ‘50s, so the villain was bound to get another major redesign. His more alien look here is interesting, even if the washed-out green feels like this is another DC project rejecting color. We know this isn’t the case, given the amount of actual color in the game, but a nicer shade of green would have been nice.
Considering how Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has players control three humans with guns and King Shark, seeing this crew of bad guys beat him should be interesting. Hopefully, the gameplay itself is exciting, since most people don’t like the live-service elements. At the least, the game is getting an offline mode patched in.
