Switch 2 excitement is at an all-time high, and lucky fans can get it without much hassle. There are now third-party stores selling the system, and some are taking reservations for less than a dollar. Paying for reservations might be annoying, but you never know when scalpers will strike.

Various sellers like ShopTo.net are offering reservation fees for less than a dollar, which is a huge steal. Granted, this isn’t for the console itself, but being able to own the system on day one will make plenty of fans happy. Considering how hard it can be to purchase modern-day systems, we expect the same thing to happen here.

Nintendo claimed that they were going to make buying Switch 2 units easier, having a ton of these systems so scalpers won’t make money from them. On paper, that sounds great, but we’ve seen companies try and fail to do this, so fans might want that early reservation just in case.

Gamers will remember how difficult it was to get a PlayStation 5 for the first few years, particularly during launch. While the system is much easier to get now, many fans were frustrated to see how quickly these units sold out. Because this happened during the 2020 pandemic, parts were harder to get, making this system an even more elusive buy for most customers.

Since we’re free from the pandemic for the most part, it looks like Nintendo’s Switch 2 could be easier to get this time. At the least, these reservation fees won’t cost too much, and fans won’t have to sell an arm or a leg for them.
