Twitch has easily become the biggest platform for streamers to make a name for themselves but naturally, they're in it for the money too. While top streamers bring in considerable earnings, it's rarely the same story for those who are just starting out.
This was proven after a post on Twitch's UserVoice (thanks Eurogamer) by streamer SaltyWyvern. Suggesting Twitch should change their payout split between streamers and the platform from 50/50 to 70/30, they're also campaigning to lower Twitch's minimum payout from $100 USD to $10-$20 USD.

The post gained a lot of upvotes, totalling 20,279 and 623 comments at the time of writing. It';s now the most upvoted post in the whole forum, gaining a mix of views from other users. Overall, some are agreeing with SaltyWyvern but others don't see it happening anytime soon.
Compared to YouTube and Facebook - which each offer 70/30 in favour of creators - Twitch is undeniably behind. Twitch has yet to respond to the post, so make sure to follow us for more gaming news and updates if/when it happens.
