Valorant periodically releases patches as new features become available, such as the Ranked Rollback or RR refund introduced in 10.05. Changes will also be rolled out for Agent kits to keep the playing field balanced. It's always best to have these patches to ensure there are variations in team playstyles and strategies.

In Valorant's patch 10.06, which has been announced, there will be changes to the skills of KAY/O, Yoru, and Vyse. KAY/O will be getting a buff for his skills, while Yoru and Vyse will be getting nerfs to their kits.

KAY/O mains will mostly rejoice with the changes to his kit. First off, KAY/O's ally resurrection time is cut in half from 3 seconds to 1.5 seconds. This allows for a faster time for KAY/O users to come back to life to help their teammates in the field.

Those with lineups for his flashes would need to make subtle changes to keep up with the change, though. When KAY/O's flash bounces, it will start a 0.8-second windup before popping. There's also a unique sound cue and visual to this. The underhand flash duration increased to 1.5s, unequip time lessened to 0.6s, and an increased callout range of the "flashing" voice line from 20m to 50m. There's also a minimap indicator for the flash, but for teammates only.

Meanwhile, there will be nerfs made to Yoru and Vyse. Yoru's nerf is not that big, but players may need to balance their eco a bit better now that his clone skill costs 100 credits more.

Vyse's usage frequency in competitive matches and tournaments is increasing. She's one of the first Sentinel picks for a map like Pearl. However, the Valorant dev team believes that the durations for her Razorvines and wall are too long, making her a big threat against pushes. Her Razorvines' duration is now reduced to 7 seconds, while her wall now comes down after 6 seconds.

Apart from that, it's mostly bug fixes, player behavior updates, and improving Sunset's CPU performance.

Time for KAY/O, Vyse, and Yoru mains to get ready for these changes!
