Despite Warzone's developers regularly implementing balancing updates to help maintain a somewhat level playing field, there's always a handful of weaponry that stands out from the rest of the game's ever-expanding arsenal.
Following the launch of Season 5 and the most recent buffs and nerfs, the meta has changed for players dropping into the action. Meanwhile, some players have argued the update's new weapons take far too long to unlock, which can prove frustrating if the FR Avancer or Carrack 300 starts to dominate.
While a lot of their focus with regards to nerfs often surrounds assault rifles and SMGs, some players believe an underrated launcher should be the next weapon to receive a dose of balancing.
Warzone Strela-P launcher nerf
In a bid to put their case for a Strela-P nerf forward, user ih2d3k6e took to Reddit and posed a simple question: "Should the Strela get nerfed?"
Judging by the comments, there are several players that believe there's no need to make any changes to the Strela-P. One player argued: "(It's) hard to hit (enemies with) at distance because of (the) steep drop. (It has) limited ammo (and a) long reload after each shot. Nah, it really doesn't need a nerf."
Instead of a nerf, some players in the thread think Raven Software should improve the performance of launchers in Call of Duty's battle royale. One suggested: "Forget nerfing, I want added launchers, improvements, and challenges. I love using an anti-armour build."

The Strela-P is proving a popular choice in Season 5, but its lack of versatility means there are plenty of more effective options to use as part of a loadout. Considering that launchers rarely impact the long-term meta, the chances of it receiving a reduction in firepower are slim.
On the other hand, some professional players want the Strela-P and the rest of the launcher category removed from competitive play.
In the meantime, it's worth checking out the best guns and weapons to use right now, so you can counter anyone using the Strela-P to deal huge amounts of damage throughout a match.
