The folks at 2K Games have revealed what will be in WWE 2K25’s Season Pass and it’s one of their most shocking DLC packages yet. We’re getting a TNA Wrestling legend, one of AEW’s semi-active wrestlers, and some really lame celebrities. Hollywood and music stars have been the norm in WWE games, but this is still pretty disappointing.

Firstly, here are all of the DLC packs and the wrestlers coming with them, courtesy of 2K:

New Wave Pack - May 2025

  • Alex Shelly
  • Chris Sabin
  • Giulia
  • Stephanie Vaquer
  • Special celebrity guest to be announced

Dunk & Destruction Pack - June 2025

  • Abyss
  • Great Khali
  • Three NBA stars to be announced

Fearless Pack - July 2025

  • New Jack
  • Jordynne Grace
  • Penta
  • Bull Nakano
  • Special celebrity guest to be announced

Attitude Era Superstars Pack - September 2025

  • D'Lo Brown
  • Billy Gunn
  • Road Dogg
  • Victoria
  • Mark Henry

Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack - November 2025

  • Jesse Ventura
  • Mr. Wonderful
  • Tito Santana
  • Junk Yard Dog
  • Sid Justice

It’s good to see a lot of the newer stars appear as DLC in WWE 2K25. Having Motor City Machine Guns, Jordynne Grace, and Penta this early is a great move, even if it’s as DLC. Returning stars like Mark Henry and Victoria are also a nice surprise, the latter of who hasn’t been in a game since SmackDown vs Raw 2009 (which came out in 2008).

Abyss is the biggest surprise here, as fans didn’t expect to see a TNA legend appear in the game. Granted, the real person behind this mask does work for them, but this character never wrestled for WWE. It’s also cool seeing the legendary Bull Nakano appear here since we can’t even remember what game she’s been playable in. Billy Gunn from AEW is also a big surprise, as he’s still contracted to the rival company.

Unfortunately, the trend of paying for celebrity characters continues in WWE 2K25. There are going to be three NBA superstars and two “special guest celebrities” who will be part of the DLC pack. It’s not as bad as Pat McAfee’s podcast team being a DLC pack in WWE 2K24, but we’d rather see more wrestlers from NXT.

Still, it’s hard to argue with the moves made here. This game feels like it’s going to be special, with a ton of returning features, a documentary-style Bloodline showcase, and The Island. Even if WWE 2K25 has some dated aspects, this looks like a quality pro wrestling sim so far.
