Fans will be able to play a good number of Switch games on their Switch 2, but will one of those titles be Yoshi’s Woolly World? The game’s box art popped up during the Switch 2’s Direct, making fans wonder if a port is on its way. Granted, this could also just be an error and they meant to add Crafted World, but you never know.

YouTuber and Nintendo enthusiast AntDude posted on X, pointing out that Woolly World is one of the games in the image where Switch 1 games with backwards-compatibility are shown. It’s a curious mistake to make since this Direct has been planned for many months, making fans think there could be a port coming soon.

Most fans agree that Yoshi’s Woolly World is the superior game when compared to Yoshi’s Crafted World. While neither game is bad, Crafted World did suffer a bit by having some repetitive music and more gimmicky levels. In comparison, Woolly World is more of a straight-up 2.5D platformer, with many comparing it to the legendary Yoshi’s Island on SNES.

Unfortunately, we think this could just be a mistake since making presentations for this company probably isn’t easy. If it does end up becoming true, we could get another quality Wii U port on the Switch before its successor takes up all of Nintendo’s time. After all, this game is on the Wii U and should be a fairly easy port to bring over to Switch, hopefully, with the 3DS exclusive features.

Fans who want to get their hands on the Switch 2 can check out pre-orders for the console here.
