What are the best Sayu builds?

Role Best Weapon Alternative Weapon Best Artifacts Alternative Artifacts
Anemo Support BuildSkyward PrideFavonius GreatswordViridescent Venerer (4 Pieces) or Noblesse Oblige (4 Pieces)Viridescent Venerer (2 Pieces) & Noblesse Oblige (2 Pieces) or Gladiator's Finale (2 Pieces)

Sayu is able to heal and deal Anemo Damage using her Burst Skill, and her build must make use of those Anemo capabilities to debuff enemies while being able to support the rest of the party as a healer.

Below is the best Sayu build right now. You can keep reading to find out the precise thinking behind this specific Sayu build, but if you've used her before, you'll quickly understand why we've chosen these weapons and artifacts.

Anemo Support Build

The idea of this build is to make Sayu a great Sub DPS, which at the same time will help her to be a better Healer who is capable of triggering great Swirl Reactions. Since Sayu's Elemental Burst healing values scale with her Attack, Skyward Pride is the best option by far. However, if you’re struggling to get this weapon, the Favonius Greatsword goes really well too.

On the artifact side, Viridescent Venerer and its Anemo damage boost makes it the best option, it can also be tricky to get your hands on that set, so a 2-2 combo of Gladiator's Finale and Noblesse Oblige will serve as a more affordable set more than fine.

What are the best team comps for Sayu?

GanyuCryo
Bennett, Diluc, Klee, Yanfei, Hu TaoPyro
Mona, TartagliaHydro
NoelleGeo

Sayu works great as a Sub-DPS/Support unit, and since she can interact really well with other Elements and even trigger Swirl, you should pair her with units that support that, such as Ganyu, Mona, or Bennett.

You can also find a more affordable and equally good alternative in the form of the Prototype Archaic or Katsuragikiri Nagamasa if you’re looking for a craftable option and you still don’t have any of the former.
