Ghost of Tsushima: How To Dye Jin's Armour

To get your armoured dyed you need to find a merchant, as other traders will not have the ability to provide dyes. With a merchant, you can find dyes for swords, armour, bows, and even headgear.

There are multiple merchants throughout the game. At the start, at Hiyoshi Springs a merchant will gift you free armour which can later be upgraded or dyed in various colours.

So wherever you are in the game, always be on the lookout for merchants. In the first region of Izuhara all merchants will have the items available, but as you progress through the game and reach Toyotama and Kamigata the equipment and dyes available will also change.

Ghost of Tsushima: How To Purchase Dyes

Like all other merchant goods, dyes have to be paid for in the form of Flowers. They are readily available all over the Tsushima island. Different regions will have different types of flowers. Flowers can be collected while riding on horseback so whether you are on a riverside or a mountain climb always make sure to collect flowers whenever you find them as they are essential to all dye purchases.
