The next-gen co-op looter Godfall first came to light as a PS5 launch title, but it could ultimately come to other platforms — and sooner than you might think.
Godfall coming to Xbox Series X and Series S?
It’s already coming to PC the same day as the PS5 edition, for one. But the game’s new launch trailer indicates that it’s only a PlayStation “console exclusive” for about six months.
“Not available on other consoles until at least May 12, 2021,” the trailer says.
Does this mean we’ll see the game arrive on Xbox Series X and Series S around that date? The fact that we’re seeing any kind of concrete info about the exclusivity date at all means we can probably expect it to land on at least one additional in May.
“Embark on adventure in a fantasy action RPG that utilizes high-impact third-person melee combat to engage players as they hunt for loot, don legendary armor sets and defeat vicious enemies,” the game’s official listing reads.
“Face challenging missions that reward you with head-turning loot as you vanquish the armies that stand against you.”
Godfall is set for release on November 12 alongside the PlayStation 5.
