Seven years after the launch of GTA 5, Rockstar Games announced a new map expansion for its satirical SoCal playground. The new region is called Cayo Perico, and it went live on December 15. It includes the Cayo Perico Heist.
But you probably know that already, and you just want to know how you can go about maximising your time on this new island? Well no problem, because there's lots of cash to be made. In fact, the Cayo Perico Heist is the most lucrative in the game. Let us tell you exactly how much you can make, whether playing with friends, or solo.
Cayo Perico Heist Payout
Rockstar’s calling the Cayo Perico heist its “biggest” DLC to date, but the final take can fluctuate wildly depending on what you steal and how many players you work with.
A recent GTA Boom breakdown of the Diamond Casino heist shows that the max take from that mission is about $3,619,000, with individual players’ cuts ranging from $432,684 to $787,001.
This will fluctuate depending on a number of key factors, from how well you play to how many players you’ve got in your crew — not to mention elements that are randomly selected, like the type of score (diamonds, cash, fine art, and so on). Let’s say a two-player Diamond Casino heist nets $787,001 for one player.
In the last Casino heist players had to make away with diamonds (naturally) and plenty of stacks of cash.
But on the island of Cayo Perico there's much more to be stolen, starting with some rather lucrative and important files for Madrazo and most importantly a Panther Statue worth $1.73M on its own, or $1.9M for stealing the Panther statue on hard..
Cayo Perico Heist Payout Breakdown
The GTA Cayo Perico Heist payout is $1,078,000, however, that is only the tip of the iceberg.
First off, the $1,078,000 is minus the $22,000 cut you have to give your submarine captain.
However, whilst $1,078,000 is the minimum you can make should you steal the plans for Madrazo, there's plenty more cash dotted across the island which you can also steal.
If you complete all optional objectives the GTA Cayo Perico Heist payout could rise to $4,570,600. That said the Panther Statue (which isn't always available) does massively increase this again.
With the Panther Statue, it's possible to achieve a maximum payout of $5,234,473.

GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist Payouts (Solo)
For the first time ever players can choose to undertake a GTA Online Heist solo. Whilst this means the task is even more difficult, it does also mean a potential bigger take as you won't be splitting the money with your fellow thieves.
Players who attempt to complete the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist solo could net the maximum of $4,570,600 if they complete all optional side-objectives. As we say, this could be higher if you are able to steal the Panther Statue, but that's a very rare occurrence and certainly no easy task.
