All Chapter 2 Bosses

Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw

The first boss you will likely face in Chapter 2 will be Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw, a giant amphibian similar to the Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang. To find this boss, go down to the right side of the Village Entrance Shrine in the Sandgate Village. Continue across the path until you find the cave nearby. To successfully defeat it, you will have to dodge its lightning attacks and avoid the sparks it creates.

Earth Wolf

Earth Wolf is a formidable boss located near the Shrine of Village Entrance. To reach it, take a detour through the cave, where you will find Xu Dog and pass by Rat Captains with two heads. During the battle, Earth Wolf uses powerful swipes and charges, so keep your distance and use attacks that can slow it down to defeat it.

King and Second Prince of Flowing Sands

This is a challenging fight because it involves both the King of Flowing Sands and his son, the Second Prince. You can find them across the twin doors in the Valley of Despair. While fighting, keep your focus on defeating the Second Prince first. If you do that, the King will flee, ending the battle. However, if you defeat the King before defeating the Second Prince, he becomes much stronger, which makes the battle more intense.

First Prince of Flowing Sands

First Prince of Flowing Sands is a large, slow boss located down your left side pathway in the Valley of Despair. If you did not finish the King of Flowing Sands and left him alive by any chance, he will wake up the First Prince. Try to stay close to the Prince in the battle and continue attacking. Make sure to dodge its heavy blows, to avoid getting injured.

Stone Vanguard

You can reach Stone Vanguard via two paths, either from the Yellow Wind Formation or Fright Cliff. Although large, Stone Vanguard is slower than other bosses, which makes it easier to dodge its attacks. However, it has a high health pool, so you need to be smart and act strategically. Once you defeat it, you will get the Sterness of Stone.

Tiger’s Acolyte

This boss is just beyond the Tiger Vanguard in the Yellow Wind Formation area. Although smaller than the Vanguard, the Tiger’s Acolyte is fast and skilled with a sword. After defeating it, you will get the Old Rattle-Drum.

Mother of Stones

The Mother of Stones is a hidden boss you can encounter as a part of the Man-In-Stone quest. It is located in a secret area of the Fright Cliff region. However, this boss summons rocky minions instead of attacking them directly. Focus on attacking the Mother of Stones to defeat it and collect the Stone Essence.

Gore-Eye Daoist

The Gore-Eye Daoist is found by opening the main door in the Valley of Despair or through the Stone Vanguard arena. It is not very strong for a Chapter 2 boss. Although it has poisonous blood attacks, defeating it is still relatively easy.

Man-In-Stone

The Man-In-Stone isn't a typical boss. Instead, he turns hostile once you complete his quest in the Fright Cliff region. Despite being relatively weak and easy to defeat, taking him down allows you to access a new vendor and unlock the Azure Dust transformation spell.

Yellow-Robed Squire

The Yellow-Robed Squire is another NPC boss found in the Fright Cliff region. Although he is not a particularly strong boss, it is necessary to defeat this character if you want to progress certain questlines and unlock additional content in the game.

Mad Tiger

The Mad Tiger is a secret boss that can be found at the bottom of a well in Sandgate Village. It is a fierce and relentless opponent, but defeating it will give you valuable rewards and help you complete all the secret challenges of Chapter 2.

Shigandang

Shigandang is a secret boss you can unlock by collecting six Buddha’s Eyeballs scattered throughout the Fright Cliff region. Once you have all six, return to the Stone Vanguard arena to fight this powerful, hidden boss.

Fuban is a powerful secret boss hidden in the Kingdom of Sahali. To find him, thoroughly explore the Sandgate Bound area. Defeating Fuban gives you an anti-wind vessel, a crucial item for battling the Yellow Wind Sage.

Tiger Vanguard

The Tiger Vanguard can be found by climbing the steps of the Crouching Tiger Temple. It has quick, powerful sword attacks. If you have the Red Tides spell, use it to counter its aggression and defeat it to obtain the Keenness of Tiger.

Black Loong

The Black Loong is a secret boss hidden deep in the Fright Cliff region. This strong opponent is well-guarded, and you'll need to carefully explore the area to find him. Defeating the Black Loong is a tough challenge, but it offers powerful rewards such as the Tridacna Pendant.

Yellow Wind Sage

The Yellow Wind Sage is the final and most demanding boss of Chapter 2. He is located in a desolate desert area and uses powerful wind-based attacks. You must defeat Fuban first to get an anti-wind vessel, which will help you in this challenging battle.
