Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is finally back on track with tons of gameplay footage and an early 2024 release date to boot. It's finally almost time for the Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League DC heroes to shine in the spotlight and show what they're made of.

That said, however, the game wouldn't really work if they didn't share that spotlight with the many DC heroes we all know and love. In other words, you can't have Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League if there's no Justice League to kill! Luckily, we already have confirmation for tons of DC heroes who will join the lineup as characters in the upcoming game.

The twist with the inclusion of DC heroes is that most of them are under the control of Brainiac, who's making them wreak havoc all over Metropolis. Members of the Justice League aren't exactly the folk you want to be battling it out against, but that's exactly the job that the Suicide Squad is given.

Below are the DC heroes that have been shown in the game so far.

Arguably DC's most recognizable hero, it's not a Justice League game if you don't include Superman in the mix. He was revealed in a DC FanDome trailer eviscerating an ARGUS agent with his heat vision.

Batman's reveal was definitely the most celebrated, especially considering that he is voiced by the late Kevin Conroy. Batman is shown confronting the Suicide Squad after seemingly having killed a security guard, indicating that he is under Brainiac's control.

Wonder Woman

The most well-known female superhero from DC, Wonder Woman, was a shoo-in for being included in the Suicide Squad game. It also seems that she has avoided or escaped Brainiac's control because in her only cinematic, she is seen fighting a mind-controlled Superman.

The Flash

Captain Boomerang isn't the only person rocking the speedforce in Suicide Squad: KTJL because the real speedster, Flash, is also part of the cast. In fact, one trailer even shows him battling it out with his nemesis Captain Boomerang, who is equipped with Dr. Sivana's Speedforce gauntlet.

Green Lantern

Green Lantern is another incredibly powerful hero who is mind-controlled by Brainiac to cause carnage across Metropolis. At one point in the game, he even seems to have captured all the members of the Suicide Squad before getting into a fight with his fellow mind-controlled Flash.

It seems Gizmo's days of fighting against the teen titans are behind him, and in his older age, he's now helping the Suicide Squad gear up to fight the corrupted Justice League.

You can hardly call Amanda Waller a DC hero, maybe an anti-hero at best, but she is supposedly on the side of the good guys and one of the most prominent characters in Suicide Squad: KTJL.
