Will Assassin's Creed Mirage have New Game Plus?
Unfortunately, Assassin's Creed Mirage does not have a New Game Plus feature. While this may be disappointing for those who enjoy this side of story-based games, it isn't overly surprising, given it has not been included in any previous Assassin's Creed titles. Nonetheless, given it seems that Mirage will be a shorter story than its predecessors, it is not unreasonable to have speculated a New Game Plus inclusion.
What is New Game Plus?
New Game Plus (or New Game+, however you spin it) is one of the more recent additions to story-based games that have grown in popularity. In short, they allow players to experience a game's main narrative again after completing the game, but with an additional challenge.
New Game Plus is generally characterised by an increase in difficulty from the previous run, which is balanced out with the ability to earn additional items or weapons that cannot be found in an initial run. The difficulty curve is significantly higher in NG+, so players will generally keep some, if not all, of their stats, gear, and weapons from the end of the first run.
