Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 2 major changes
Refreshingly, Larian Studios was more forthcoming with intel concerning the improvements in the new patch of their Dungeons & Dragons-inspired RPG.
In a recent Steam community update, the company mentioned without much elaboration that this patch would offer substantial performance improvements to Act 3, in addition to an epilogue expansion that promises a more fleshed-out ending for barbarian companion Karlach in the story’s final act.
They also stress that development work is taking place to eliminate the problem where actionable events in the game world fail to trigger correctly. Good examples of these things include various companion reactions which appear to be “cut off” in certain scenes, as well as some of Minthara’s reactivity in the game.
Players have also reported cases of being inexplicably locked out of certain storylines, which is something that the upcoming patch will also endeavour to correct.
All in all, avid players of the series can expect to sink in hundreds of hours with this fantastic Patch 2 update which promises to offer a more refined and streamlined playing experience over its predecessor.
