There are a few different ways when it comes to how to revive characters in Baldur's Gate 3. Your party is the most important aspect of your journey, affecting combat, quests, dialogue options, and a plethora of other factors throughout the world. You can have a party of up to three other characters, making for a total of four including your own.
While it's not preferable, it stands to reason that, at some point, one or all of these characters will die. This can trigger a moment of panic on your part, as losing a party member can spell disaster if you're in the middle of a heated engagement with enemies. In this guide, we'll explain three methods for bringing a character back to life.

Reviving dead characters in Baldur's Gate 3
First and foremost, there are three primary ways to revive a fallen party member.
If you don't want to use any of the methods or don't have access to any of them, you can always reload a previous save where all of your party members were alive and well. You'll lose some progress, but it might be a better option - especially if you're still in the early part of Baldur's Gate 3.
The three main ways to revive a character are as follows:
Have a character cast the Revivify Spell
This spell is Level 3 necromancy magic that can be cast to resurrect a fallen character. It's primarily accessible to healing classes such as the Cleric and Paladin. It has a range of nine meters and will bring a character back to 1 HP.
Use the Scroll of Revivify
The Scroll of Revivify works the exact same way as the Revivify Spell with the exception that it's a consumable item. This means any character, regardless of class and spell list, can use the item to revive a character.
Interact with Withers, the Talkative Skeleton
Finally, the last way to revive a character is to pay 200 Gold to Withers, the Talkative Skeleton found at the end of the Dank Crypt dungeon on Ravaged Beach. It should be one of the first dungeons you come across in Baldur's Gate 3.
After speaking to the Necromancer, you'll be able to add them to your camp as a permanent NPC. Whenever a character has died after this point, you can return to camp, pay the skeleton 200 Gold, and whatever dead character you choose will be brought back to life.
