Developers often add incentives to players to pre-order their games in the form of unique content, often in the form of special cosmetics or in-game items for them to use. However, sometimes developers will include a sizable offering when players pre-order their game, so it's worth making yourself aware of the possible freebies on offer.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden pre-order bonuses
For those wondering, there are pre-order bonuses available to those that buy Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden before its release date on February 13, 2024. Anyone who pre-orders the game will also receive the Wanderer Set DLC for free.
The Wanderer Set DLC unlocks two crafting recipes in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, for the following items:
- Wanderer Outfit - increases melee damage by 5% (Red)
- Cortador and Ascua - increase last combo damage by 50% (Red)
You're able to craft the outfit and sword set as soon as you complete the crafting tutorial in-game. Described as "uniquely powerful", it seems likely that the Wanderer Set will give you a significant advantage, particularly in the earlier stages of the game.
Is it worth pre-ordering Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden?
In essence, we don't think it's necessary to pre-order Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. For a single-player title, having a bonus skin with unique perks is nice, but it's not very important when you're the only one who can see it. Plus, we have no way of knowing how this gear compares to any other in-game, so we can't say for certain whether it's overpowered or not.
However, it's worth noting that this pre-order bonus doesn't come at any extra cost, and if you're planning to buy the game on release regardless, then there's no reason not to pre-order and claim the bonus while you can.
