If you're currently playing the game and looking for the best Steelrising build, this is what you need to know. This build got us through the game with minimal issues, with enough power to take down every enemy and enough ranged damage to do it from a comfortable distance.

While there are tonnes of ways to play the game, this is a specific build that made the game much easier than it might have been otherwise. As well as going over the class and stat investment, we'll go over what types of weapons you should be looking for and where you should spend all your Anima. As you might expect, there's a lot of opinion here so don't be afraid to customize your class and build.

If you're looking for more information on the game, here's what we know about the Steelrising release date and platforms. We also have guides on the Steelrising assisted mode and which Steelrising class you should pick. Finally, here's what we know about the potential of Steelrising on Xbox Game Pass.

What is the best Steelrising build?

First off, when it comes to your class in the best Steelrising build, you shouldn't worry too much. All starting weapons can be purchased for a relatively small amount of Anima and, unlike what your instincts may tell you, we are not focusing on one or two attributes. This class will upgrade all stats to benefit from all the stat boosts.

For our class, we picked the dancer. Their focus on agility and fast weapons is the base playstyle we will be sticking to here. They come with +3 Agility, +2 Vigour, and Armoured fans. Continue to increase those stats but replace the Armoured Fans when a stronger light weapon comes along. There are tonnes in the game so keep hunting around until you find one that works for you.

Best Weapons

We chose the Falchion and Sabre weapon for its fast attacks and powerful special.

From here, assign a frost-based range weapon as your secondary choice. We chose the Charleville 1789 Shield Musket as it is powerful and its shield special can get you out of trouble when you're too close.

The key to this class is upgrading your endurance to ten and learning how the active cooling function works. When your stamina is depleted, wait a second and hit triangle. You will then regain stamina at the cost of frost build-up. Luckily, tap a few times when you are frozen to get out again. Essentially, with quick attacks and high stamina, you can keep the pressure on to immobilise enemies easily.

From here, invest in getting all stats to ten as this is where they start to lose their effect. All attributes will benefit you in some way so it's worth putting the time into them.

For enemies that are a little too scary, use your frost musket to build up their frost and freeze them entirely. The game lets you hold a never-ending supply of bullets and you can buy them for cheap, meaning you can keep freezing bosses, hitting them a few times, and dodging away. This is a bit of a cheeky combat trick but a very easy way of taking down the game's toughest foes.
