We're almost midway into the unusually long Season 4 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone. It has been on the lighter side, with delays stretching everything even thinner.
A mid-season refresher, adding new and neat stuff, is exactly what the shooter needs right now. Plenty of content said to be released with the Season 4 Reloaded update was already debriefed during the season announcement.
Keep reading to know everything that'll be added with the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded patch.
Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Expected Release Date
The Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update is expected to release on June 26, 2025. It is a mid-season update, and given how events were scheduled initially, the date looks likely for a Reloaded update.
But starting with Ballerina, event runtimes were extended. King of the Dead and Master of Grief were supposed to be the initial few events of the Reloaded update. With the Rivals event now ending on July 3, that's when the Zombie events will find their way.
If the Reloaded update is also pushed back, it could arrive on July 3, 2025. It is also the exact midpoint of the ten-week season, which started on May 29, 2025.
What Is Coming To Black Ops 6 With Season 4 Reloaded?
The full list includes new maps, guns, equipment, more modes, and events.
Maps
Season 4 Reloaded will add two multiplayer maps to Call of Duty Black Ops 6 — Eclipse and Fringe.
Eclipse is a brand-new, small-sized map. It is an underground nightclub set in Avalon with every corner lit with familiar neon lights. Fringe, meanwhile, is an old-timer that is rehashed from Black Ops 3.
Modes
The returning fan favorite, One in the Chamber, and Party Ops are the two modes that should be available for the Season 4 Reloaded update.
One in the Chamber is a classic. As the name suggests, you only get a one-bullet pistol to make it count. You'll still have your knife. Although bringing a knife to a gunfight isn't exactly a popular tactic, you'll be surprised how effective it can be here.
As for Party Ops, you'll play a randomized set of party-themed minigames for points. The one with the highest points in the end wins.
Guns & Equipment
Season 4 Reloaded will have 2 new weapons and 2 weapon mods. Below is a rundown of all four of them as revealed in the Season 4 announcement blog.
- Olympia: Double-barrel shotgun with very high damage and respectable range, but requires frequent reloading. It'll be available as an event reward.
- Pickaxe: A one-hit kill melee weapon with medium attack speed and short range.
- SVD Full Auto Mod: Convert the SVD from semi-auto to full-auto functionality, ramping up the speed of your damage output and drastically improving recoil and handling.
- TR2 CQB Auto Conversion Kit: Alter the TR2 Marksman Rifle to fire handgun caliber rounds, resulting in a Marksman Rifle with a compact frame and fully automatic capabilities that rival the fire rates of an SMG!
Events
The two events confirmed for the Season 4 Reloaded update are King of the Dead and Master of Grief.
They're zombie-based, leaderboard events where you collect points and rank based on your points. Higher points will result in higher leaderboard placement and better rewards.
Zombies
New events aren't the only thing that'll be coming to Zombies in the season refresher. Two limited-time modes in Starting Room and Abomination Challenge will also be added with the update. Here is the description for the same:
- Starting Room: Inspired by the starting room in the classic “Moon” Zombies map, drop in with up to three of your Zombies crew into a more straightforward but challenging experience where you’re locked into the first zone of a map. Raptor One is gone, and those undead hordes are only getting stronger, but all doors in the initial zone are locked. Survive to the highest round you can!
- Abomination Challenge: Enter a warped version of Liberty Falls during this new Mid-Season Event, and hunt down an ultra-powered-up Abomination. Perhaps it’s wise to bring backup.
What Is Coming To Warzone With Season 4 Reloaded?
We'll be getting three modes for Warzone in the Season 4 Reloaded update — Havoc Royale, Resurgence Casual, and Resurgence Ranked.
All we know of Havoc Royale is that it'll be 15 minutes of modifiers-filled battle royale action. You'll be dropped into a specially themed area of Verdansk with your loadout. Every new gas circle activates a different modifier that'll alter your gameplay and "twist the realities."
Resurgence Casual will be a forgiving playground for newer players to dip into. It'll be a lobby of 44 players (with some bots). Don't worry if you get embarrassed by the bots, as the results will not count towards your stats.
These were all the content confirmed for the Season 4 Reloaded update of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Beyond these, expect a few changes in balancing and possible QoL here and there.
