Sniper Rifles in Black Ops 6 are incredibly powerful, especially when the developers have virtually made the damage for various areas of a character’s body the same. That being said, they come with their own set of challenges. As it stands, the Snipers in this game are bouncy, jumpy, and hard to handle.
With the proper build, though, you can easily counter and manage this issue. In that case, here’s a build for the LR 7.62, which will truly make you troublesome for the enemy players.
The Best LR 7.62 Loadout in Call of Duty Black Ops 6
Before diving into the build for the LR 7.62, it is vital to equip the Gunfighter Wildcard because you’ll need more than five attachments. With that said, here’s the load-out setup:
- Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Underbarrel: Precision Handguard
- Magazine: Extended Mag 1
- Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
- Stock: Heavy Stock
- Laser: Strelok Laser
- Fire Mods: Rapid Fire
This completes the build for the LR 7.62.
Details of the LR 7.62 Build
The first attachment in this build is the Muzzle Brake, which focuses on the Accuracy of your weapon. In particular, it enhances the first-shot recoil control and kicks reset speed. In other words, this attachment allows you to balance your weapon more efficiently after you fire the first bullet.
When you’re a sniper going against enemies who typically use automatic weapons, you need a quicker Bullet Velocity to counter incoming damage while gaining the kill. To help you with this, we’ve got the Reinforced Barrel as our second attachment.
Apart from accuracy and firepower, another crucial aspect of Sniper Rifles is recoil. Here’s the thing: the snipers in this game are pretty jumpy; each shot makes it difficult to handle the weapon overall. To counter this, we’ve got the Precision Handguard as the Underbarrel.
If you’re a sniper who prefers aggressive gameplay, you need supplies (aka ammo.) To help you with this, we’ve got the Extended Mag 1. The only downside to this attachment is that it decreases the Reload Quickness and the Empty Reload Quickness—precisely by an 11 and 6-percent factor, respectively.
Talking about aggressive gameplay, having a faster ADS (Aim Down Sight Speed) on a Sniper Rifle cannot be ignored. The Quickdraw Grip is your go-to in that case. The only downside here is the decrease in Flinch Resistance, which is compensated by our next attachment—the Heavy Stock.
For the Laser, we’ve got the Strelok Laser for those faster Sprint-to-Fire hip-fire eliminations. Lastly, we’ve got the Rapid Fire as our Fire Mods. As the name suggests, Rapid Fire significantly increases the Fire Rate. However, it is at the expense of bullet velocity and accuracy. Nonetheless, these attributes are compensated by our previous attachments.
