Season 2 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will add all the usual content you'd expect from the shooter, bringing even more guns for you to flit and flirt across Nuketown.

New seasons begin at the same time as the old ones leave, too, so if you're far off from completing the battle pass for the first season, it is the right time to look at dates and start getting nervous.

Here's exactly when Season 2 for Black Ops 6 will begin, including release times for Warzone.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 Release Date

Season 2 of Black Ops 6 will begin on January 28, 2025. This is when the current season's battle pass will leave the game, and it always marks the beginning and end of a season for Call of Duty. Likewise, seasons usually start at 9 AM PT (12 PM ET, 5 PM GMT).

You can also check the timer on the battle pass menu. Each season typically runs for two months, with some lasting a few weeks more and others less. The only reliable way to confirm the release schedule is by checking the battle pass

Midway through the season, about a month or so in, the Season 2 Reloaded patch will add more new content to the game. This is also when the next free trial will likely be hosted. Most of the additions will be announced before the season kicks off.

However, if there are any unexpected delays, the release could be pushed back; in that case, season 1 will likely be extended.

When Does Warzone Season 2 Start?

Warzone and Black Ops 6 share the same schedule, so Season 2 for Warzone will begin on January 28, 2025. The battle royale follows the latest mainline Call of Duty, with shared progression and the same battle pass.
