To complete all Safe House puzzles in Black Ops 6 Zombies, you’ll follow a sequence of challenges across the mansion, gaining access to hidden areas and rewards.
Generator Puzzle
Start in the basement, which you can reach from the main hall by going through several rooms and doors (past a side room with several computers).
Once in the generator room, locate the boiler and fuel controls. To activate the generator correctly:
- Set the fuel dial halfway by turning it once to the middle setting.
- Turn the boiler control twice to close it completely, ensuring no leaks.
- Switch on the pilot light to get the generator running.
- Finally, the boiler control should be turned twice to open it fully, allowing the system to work continuously.
You’ll know you’ve done it right when the generator powers up and you can’t interact with it again.
This step gives power throughout the Safe House and unlocks a nearby door beside the piano room.
Piano Puzzle
Once the generator is up, proceed to the main floor piano room.
Look around for a blacklight on a table, which you’ll need to use for several puzzles. Scan the walls and furniture around you with the blacklight to reveal hidden Cyrillic symbols and numbers.
These symbols correspond to specific keys on the piano. The general key sequence for many players has been Mn, Pr, Cn, Ao, and Pe, but check the blacklight symbols in your playthrough,
as they may vary.
Once you play the keys in the correct order, the wall beside the piano will open, leading you to another hallway with more puzzles.
This puzzle only works if the generator is active, so ensure it’s on first.
Keypad Code Puzzle
After passing through the hidden door, you’ll encounter a locked door with a keypad that requires a five-digit code.
This puzzle is randomized, so you’ll need to use clues rather than a set code. The blacklight reveals faint fingerprints on some keys, indicating frequently pressed numbers.
Note that each one will feature a color when you enter:
- Green means the number is correct and in the right position.
- Yellow indicates the number is correct but in the wrong position.
- Red shows that the number isn’t part of the code.
Continue testing combinations based on this feedback until all numbers show green.
Computer Code Puzzle
Upon entering the room past the keypad, find a computer terminal displaying a cipher puzzle.
This involves matching a series of numbers on the top of the screen with corresponding letters on the cipher displayed below.
Your goal is to match these numbers to letters, forming specific words that unlock the next door.
The numbers translate to words that typically include Bunker, Room, Holding, and Open,
though their order may vary for each session.
Correctly entering these words unlocks the next section and allows you to move forward in the Safe House.
Lockpicking Puzzle
After completing the computer puzzle, leave the room and go down the hall to a door requiring a lockpick.
In this minigame, rotate the lockpick until it begins to glow, then hold it in position to pick the lock.
Repeat for all pins to open the door. Inside, you’ll find a key on a table, which is essential for entering the radio room later in the basement.
Radio Puzzle
Now, head to the radio room and use the key from the previous lockpicking step to enter.
Inside, you’ll find a radio setup with dials for adjusting amplitude and frequency. Adjust these until the displayed waves align, which will activate the radio and begin playing a recorded message on a loop.
This message will describe four specific items around the room, each with a unique number.
Use the blacklight to locate each item mentioned in the message and note the number on or near it.
Arrange these numbers in the order in which the items were mentioned to form a four-digit code for the final safe puzzle.

Code: 7409 - “It’s not just an ashtray,” Grandfather said. “It’s marked with our ancestral crest.” I sank into the couch, annoyed at his gift. Grandfather leaned forward in his chair. ‘Be proud of your heritage.’”

Code: 8935 - “There was a love letter taped to the chalkboard, hidden behind a makeshift curtain. He eyed the woman sitting on the rug as she listened to the sounds of his guitar.”

Safe Code
The Safe Puzzle on the second floor is the final piece of the Safe House sequence.
It is in a bedroom at the top of the main staircase, down the hall to the left. Enter the bedroom where the safe is located near the bed.
Input your code from the radio puzzle, and the safe will open. Successfully inputting the correct four-digit sequence grants rewards like $1,000 in campaign currency.
You can use this currency for upgrades and to unlock the Case Cracker melee weapon blueprint.
Additionally, you will earn the Puzzles, Mason achievement, or trophy for solving all Safe House secrets.
