With the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC and update 2.0, players are flocking back to Cyberpunk 2077. If you've watched Edgerunners and want to emulate David Martinez in Night City, we've got all the info on the best Sandevistan in Cyberpunk 2077, following the release of Update 2.0.

Every Sandevistan in the game has been tweaked following update 2.0. Before the update, two Sandevistans stood out in particular: the Militech "Falcon" Mk.5 and the QianT "Warp Dancer" Mk.5. Both remain solid Sandevistans in their own right, however a new king of Sandevistans has come to the fore.

If you want to continue living your Edgerunner dream, find out about all the new iconic weapons in the Phantom Liberty DLC, and where to find David Martinez's memorial in-game.

What is the best Sandevistan in Cyberpunk 2077?

Following the release of update 2.0, the Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan is the best in the game by some distance. The stats for the Apogee Sandevistan at Tier 5 are listed below:

  • Time is slowed down by 85% for everyone but the user.
  • Increased crit chance and crit damage by 9% and 13% respectively.
  • Increased headshot multiplier damage by 10%.
  • Neutralising an enemy grants +20% extended duration and +22% stamina.
  • Base duration of eight seconds, cooldown of 30 seconds.

The reason the Apogee model is so highly rated is because it offers the largest time slowdown of any Sandevistan in the game. Additionally, the ability for the duration to be extended significantly upon getting a kill means you can set up some incredibly satisfying combos with the Apogee.

You're also able to trigger the Sandevistan even if its only partially charged, which means you don't need to wait for its cooldown to complete.

If the Apogee Sandevistan rings a bell, that's because its the same model as the one used by David Martinez in Netflix's Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. To get the Apogee Sandevistan for yourself, you'll need to reach player level 40 first. Once you've done this, the Tier 5 Apogee can be bought from any Ripperdoc for 110,000 eddies.

How do you use the Sandevistan in Cyberpunk 2077

To use a Sandevistan in Cyberpunk 2077, you'll first have to pick one up either by picking one up by chance when looting, or heading to your nearest Ripperdoc. Sandevistans range wildly in prices depending on their quality.

If you've obtained a Sandevistan out in the field, you'll have to equip it at the Ripperdoc, by opening the cyberware vending screen. Then, head to the Operating System slot on the top right hand side.

Here, you'll see the Sandevistan in your inventory in the top-leftmost spot of the Ripperdocs shop, marked with a green tick. To equip, simply select the Sandevistan and it will be equipped. Alternatively, if you've come to the Ripperdoc to buy your Sandevistan, follow the same steps, except instead of selecting a Sandevistan with a green tick, you'll have to buy one that he's selling.

Now you've got your Sandevistan equipped! You can try out your new Sandevistan as soon as you exit the Ripperdoc's building. To trigger your Sandevistan, press E on PC, or RB+LB on console. A sound effect will trigger, and the screen will become tinted blue when the Sandevistan is activated.

That's all there is to know about which Sandevistan in Cyberpunk 2077 is the best following update 2.0.
