What are all the gigs in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?
To complement the already extensive story of Phantom Liberty, eight gigs have been added to flesh out the Dogtown district. Gigs are one of the highlights of Cyberpunk 2077, and the ones added in the Phantom Liberty expansion should definitely not be missed.
All gigs are linked to a fixer, and these new ones are no different. The Dogtown gigs will give the player more time with Mr Hands, the Pacifica fixer, as he seeks to grow his power in the Dogtown region.
Here we've included all the gigs coming in the Phantom Liberty DLC, as well as a brief synopsis of what to expect:
- Waiting for Dodger - Respond to a call for help from two NCPD officers, who find themselves surrounded in an abandoned precinct in the middle of Dogtown. That, it turns out, is the least of their problems.
- Dogtown Saints - In Dogtown, where Trauma Team is inaccessible, residents rely on Anthony Anderson's charity clinic in an abandoned church, but he's now held captive. Even Dogtown's most saintly have dark secrets, and nothing is as simple as it seems.
- Prototype in the Scraper - Reclaim a priceless Zetatech prototype hidden by Scavs in Dogtown's skyscraper ruins. Prepare well, be ready for anything, and expect to encounter the worst.
- Talent Academy - In the corporate-banned enclave of Dogtown, infiltrate Biotechnica's secret facility and retrieve classified client data. What kind of clients, and what kind of data… well, you better find that out for yourself.
- The killing of Jason Foreman by the coward Leon Rinder - In Dogtown, you're on you're own; the NCPD won't set foot in Barghest's territory. When one of Hansen's men kills eight residents in the Stacks, its up to you to deliver justice.
- Balls to the Wall - Visit the tents near Hansen's tower to meet Paco, who's in a tough spot after working a job for Barghest. Take a listen to his story and see if you can help resolve his predicament.
- Spy in the Jungle - A certain Mark Bana from the Brazilian service has disappeared somewhere in Dogtown. His compatriots are very interested in finding him. Help out your fellow intelligence agents out and uncover the mystery of his disappearance.
- No Easy Way Out (Side Quest) - Aaron Waines, a decent boxer and friend of Coach Fred, seeks help against match-fixers who are harming his prospects. Things get complicated quickly; nothing is ever as it seems in Dogtown.
What are the new open world activities in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?
Alongside the quests and gigs coming with the Phantom Liberty DLC, there will also be two different repeatable activities for you to complete. These events occur randomly during your playthrough, adding some additional dynamism to Night City.
Moreover, there is substantial variation within these two activity types. Secondary objectives that may be added in to these activities helps to add an additional layer of challenge. Below are the two events in question, and an outline of what to expect when you encounter them in Night City.
Courier missions
The new courier missions can be found all across Night City. To complete these challenges, you'll have to pick up the designated vehicle and drive it to a determined location.
These missions are led by El Capitan, the fixer from the Santa Domingo district of Night City. Courier missions are randomly generated and infinite, allowing them to be completed any number of times. However, there are two unique, non-repeatable missions, with their own reward to boot.
Courier missions will encourage you to engage with the new vehicle combat mechanics added in Update 2.0. Whether you're chasing down a vehicle driven by an enemy gang, or simply need to complete the mission as fast as possible, expect heavy resistance on your delivery runs.
Airdrops
The airdrop events are unique to the new Dogtown region in Night City. AVs will regularly drop cargo for Hansen's Barghest, marked by a red flare that can be seen for miles around. These airdrops will contain weapons and supplies that can be incredibly valuable.
Like courier missions, airdrops are infinite and randomly generated, yet also boast a greater level of variation. You may have to fend off an ambush or clear a small army of Barghest to secure the airdrop's loot. There are also some custom airdrop scenarios, that will teach you more about the big players in Dogtown.
