For all of its occasional faults, Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City can still be fun to cruise around in, regardless of how highly customised your ride of choice happens to be.
After all, while the game may not quite be a true masterpiece, its soundtrack still offers up some brilliant bops and raging bangers. It's a delight for your ears as you contemplate what could have been had things not gone awry.
If, perchance, you find your radio knob regularly sliding towards Ritual FM as you tour Cyberpunk’s concrete jungle and fancy switching things up for your next cruise, a new mod might be just what you’re looking for.
Cyberpunk 2077 mod makes for the ultimate headbanging session
This mod, called “Rammstein - RadioExt” is the work of modder 1vultur1, whose taste in music seems to be pretty on point.
Occupying frequency 19.94 on the radio, in reference to the year that the band was founded, the new station comes with a custom logo and, perhaps surprisingly, no music.
Now, hold on a minute before you start smashing up your guitar, as this isn’t some kind of sick joke at your expense. 1vultur1 explains that, in order to avoid any copyright issues, you’ll have to download the tracks yourself and drop them into a special folder once you’ve downloaded the mod.
This also means that, if you like, you can make sure that only your favourite tunes from the German heavy metal band’s back catalogue end up blaring through your speakers.
Maybe you want to listen to Sonne while staring into the sunset from a cliff in the badlands, play Ich Will while doing some pre-firefight shopping or even blast Mein Teil while dropping by a restaurant.
On the other hand, you could also put the song ‘Radio’ into the mix, meaning you’ll be listening to Radio on your radio, an option Pimp My Ride’s Xzhibit would no doubt be proud of.
Whatever your choice of setlist, this definitely tailors your Cyberpunk 2077 experience to your musical preferences. Be sure to check out our other mod guides, for instance, we have a mod that allows you to romance Johnny Silverhand (because who doesn't?), and you can also install Banksy graffiti all over Night City.
