Dead by Daylight overdrive system
Basically, this new system comes to replace the old Overheat system for the Hillbilly. This gives Billy an entire new way of interacting with their chainsaw with more speed and power, but how exactly?
Introduced in patch 7.5.0, the Overdrive is activated by generating enough heat points. these can be gained by either revving up the chainsaw, a great move that will get everyone running for their lives, or going into a chainsaw sprint. Basically, you start running around with your chainsaw in front of you.
But those points will not last forever. Better be careful, because they will start to diminish after fifteen seconds of the chainsaw not being in use.
Once you have enough points, it is time to activate Overdrive. Now, Billy's chainsaw, for the next 20 seconds, gets 5% more speed and increased charge, higher chainsaw sprint speed and reduction of the cooldown of the sprint by 10%.
The new patch will also make it easier for Billy to run around without hitting obstacles that aren't directly in front of it. This means that the character is definitely getting a big upgrade, might be time to check them out again.
