The best Dead by Daylight Twins build is one that uses Victor and Charlotte Deshayes well. Joined together at birth, the Twins are one of the unique killers in Dead by Daylight because they are two entities with very different functions.
The Twins are versatile and cunning, being able to be in two places simultaneously. They are also capable of working together to unleash merry hell on the survivors. Here is the best build for the Twins to help you become the best killer in the game, including their power, perks, add-ons, and tips and tricks.
Dead by Daylight The Twins perks
The Twins have three unique perks that can be unlocked for other killers via the Bloodweb.
Hoarder
This perk triggers a loud noise notification for four seconds whenever a survivor unlocks a chest or picks up any item within 32/48/64 meters.
Oppression
When you damage a generator, three other generators begin regressing as well. If a survivor is working on a generator at the time, they will be given a difficult skill check. This perk has a cooldown of 120/100/80 seconds.
Coup de Grace
Each time a generator is completed, this perk grows in power and grants you a token. The Twins consume one Token to increase the distance of a lunge attack.
Best Dead by Daylight The Twins build
We would go with the following perks for the Best possible Twins Build:
Deadlock
Whenever a Generator is completed, The Entity blocks the Generator with the most progression for 20/25/30 seconds. During this time, the aura of the blocked Generator is revealed to you in white.
Forced Hesitation
Whenever a Survivor is put into the Dying State by any means, all other Survivors within 16 metres of them suffer from a -20 % Hindered Status Effect for 10 seconds. Forced Hesitation has a cool-down of 40/35/30 seconds.
Corrupt Intervention
At the start of the Trial, The Entity blocks the 3 Generators located farthest from you for 80/100/120 seconds. Corrupt Intervention deactivates prematurely once the first Survivor is put into the Dying State.
Sloppy Butcher
Wounds inflicted by Basic Attacks cause Survivors to suffer from Haemorrhage and Mangled Status Effects. Increases the Bleeding frequency of injured Survivors by 50/75/100 %.
Increases the Regression rate at which partial Healing Progression is lost because of haemorrhage by 15/20/25 %. Both Status Effects are removed once the Survivor is fully healed.
Alternative Dead By Daylight The Twins builds
The Twins are a two-in-one Killer with Charlotte and Victor which offers a different unique powerhouse in the game. Here are the builds that take advantage of each character.
Dead By Daylight beginner Twins build
- Dead Man's Switch
- Scourge, Hook: Pain Resonance
- Corrupt Intervention
- Grim Embrace
Dead By Daylight meta Twin build
- Coup de Grace (The Twins)
- Hex: Face the Darkness (The Knight)
- Thanatophobia (The Nurse)
- Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain (The Cenobite)
This particular build was created by YouTuber Miztah Monstur taking advantage of the abilities of The Twins. Hex: Face the Darkness would make Survivors reveal themselves by screaming every 25 seconds. Thanatophobia would make it harder to repair, sabotage, and cleanse Totems. Lastly, Coup de Grace would make it easier to lunge attack your victims.
Dead By Daylight Exhaustion Twins build
- A Nurse's Calling (The Nurse)
- Blood Echo (The Oni)
- Deadlock (The Cenobite)
- Deathbound (The Executioner)
One of the problems that The Twins Killers face is that Victor is unable to pick up Survivors. So, if you down someone with Victor, Charlotte will need to head over to where the Survivor has been downed. Fortunately, Survivors have that too so it wouldn't be good to waste the chance to exploit that, right? So this build would make them get Exhausted multiple times and make it easier to insta-down them.
Dead By Daylight The Twins powers
As of patch 7.7.0, The Twins have had their power reworked, but their ability to work together to take down survivors has remained the same.
The Twins' power is called Blood Bond. Victor can separate from Charlotte in 0.75 seconds. With Victor unleashed, he can be controlled and charge his lunge attack to hit survivors roaming around the map.
Victor’s movement speed is much higher than Charlotte's, and unlike his sister, he does not get detected by aura-based or directional perks like Spine Chill or Object of Obsession, making him very sneaky. Victor can also check lockers, jump through vaults and windows, and latch onto healthy survivors.
If Victor misses an attack on a healthy survivor, he will glow red. This means he will be able to be crushed.
Charlotte can swap back to Victor, which allows her to use him as a beacon that emits where Survivors are through the Killer Instinct radius. She can also recall Victor back to her. If Victor either downs an injured survivor or finds them in a locker, the player is also swapped back to Charlotte.
When you control Victor, Charlotte enters a Dormant state, where she emits no Terror Radius. However, you can knock her out of that state by stunning her with a pallet or a locker.
Best add-ons for The Twins in Dead By Daylight
The Twins add-ons aren’t the best, but they aren’t surprisingly bad, either. Here are just a few add-ons you’ll want to try out to give the Twins an edge over Survivors.
Iridescent Pendant
When a Survivor crushes Victor, they'll suffer from the Exposed status effect for 45 seconds.
Madeline's Scarf
Increases the Movement speed of Victor by +0.3 m/s.
Toy Sword
This slightly reduces the charge-up time of Victor's Pounce attack. This gives you more time to rush at survivors.
Forest Stew
This add-on increases Victor's already fast movement speed by 0.6m/s, letting you hunt survivors more easily.
Dead By Daylight The Twins tips and tricks
- If you’re going to use Charlotte to body block pallets, make sure you don’t put her directly beside it. Charlotte can easily be stunned, and when it happens, she’ll immediately be woken up, leaving Victor vulnerable to being crushed by survivors.
- It’s always best to hit survivors with Charlotte, then unleash Victor to pounce on them, as he moves much faster and can catch up to his prey faster than his sister.
- You can jump over vaults and windows as Victor, so don’t be afraid to try and make some ballsy moves. You’ll be surprised at how many times you’ll be met with success.
- Victor is great at tracking injured survivors because the blood trails he sees are bright and quite big. Even if the survivor has Iron Will, blood trails are impossible to miss.
- Do not leave Charlotte idle somewhere in the corner of the map, especially on big maps like Ormond or Red Forest. This will make it longer to reach downed survivors.
- Charlotte is great at blocking important totems, but you should only do so when necessary. Instead, focus on lethality by getting all survivors injured first, then go to protecting a Hex Totem if you feel like you have to.
