In Dead by Daylight, one player is the designated killer while the others must work together to stay alive and accomplish mission objectives. Survivors will have perks that will aid them through the night but the killer will be powered by unbridled evil to balance things out.

Dead by Daylight update 7.5.0 patch notes
With this Dead by Daylight update, players will be getting balance changes, tweaks to certain features, and a brand-new survivor. Here’s a better look at everything in the update.
New survivor Alan Wake
The titular character from Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake makes his debut as one of the survivors in Dead by Daylight update 7.5.0. The Hillbilly killer update
- Holding down the power button will activate Chainsaw Sprint. Survivors hit with the sprint enter the dying state. Revving the chainsaw and sprinting with it will increase Overdrive meter. Overdrive meter will decrease when the chainsaw is not in use.
- Chainsaw Sprint movement speed increased from 9.2 m/s to 10.12 m/s
- Chainsaw hit cooldown decreased from 3 seconds to 2.7 seconds
- Chainsaw miss cooldown decreased from 3 seconds to 2.5 seconds
- Movement speed during Chainsaw miss cooldown increased from 1.38 m/s to 2.3 m/s
- Chainsaw’s collision size decreased to improve navigation during Chainsaw Sprint
- Chainsaw sensitivity disconnected from controller sensitivity
- Chainsaw charge speed increased by 5% during Overdrive
- Chainsaw Sprint movement speed increased to 13 m/s during Overdrive
- Chainsaw cooldowns reduced by 10% during Overdrive
- Greased Throttle (Junkyard Air Filter) decrease recovery time after a successful chainsaw hit by 10%
- Counterweight (Heavy Clutch) decreases Chainsaw Sprint initial turn rate by 70%
- Cracked Primer Bulb (Speed Limiter) Survivors hit with chainsaw are damaged for a single health state and increases Overdrive generation by 15%
- Begrimed Chains (Big Buckle) Survivors will be afflicted with Mangled and Hemorrhage status effects after being hit with the chainsaw. Status effects will be cured when fully healed.
- Steel Toe Boots will decrease recovery time after hitting an object with the chainsaw by 10% and increases Chainsaw sprint turn rate by 30%
- Discarded Air Filter (Mother’s Helpers) increases the time it takes for Overdrive to start dissipating by 15%
- Low Kickback Chains decreases recovery time after hitting an object with the chainsaw by 15%
- Ragged Engine (Leafy Mash) decreases the speed of Overdrive dissipation by 15% when chainsaw is not in use
- Iridescent Engravings (Doom Engravings) increases Chainsaw Sprint movement speed by 20% and time required to charge chainsaw by 12%
- The Thompson’s Mix (Black Grease) decreases recovery time after a successful chainsaw hit by 15%
- Thermal Casing (Punctured Muffler) decreases heat dissipation speed when chainsaw is not being used
- Off-Brand Motor Oil increases Overdrive generation by 15%
- Clogged Intake (Death Engravings) increases Overdrive duration by 15%
- Filthy Slippers (Iridescent Black) grants Undetectable until Chainsaw Sprint ends after using the ability for 2 seconds
- Apex Muffler and Tuned Carburetor changed rarity
- Spiked Boots increases Chainsaw Sprint turn rate by 15%
The Onryo killer update
- The Onryo can now gain Bloodlust and enter chases as usual while Demanifested
- Bloodlust is no longer lost while Demanifesting
- Demanifested state invisibility duration increased from 1 second to 1.2 seconds
- Removed cooldown for Killer Power
- Condemned gained from teleports increased to 1 full stack
- Teleporting applies Condemned to survivors within 16 meters of the TV where The Onryo projected or any other powered TV
- Powered TVs now have VFX showing range at all times while powered and are revealed to survivors within 16 meters
- Condemned progress is locked in when hooking a survivor
- Retrieving and inserting a VHS tape in a TV now takes 1 second
- Tapes must be brought to the furthest TV which is highlighted in yellow
- While holding a tape, survivors no longer lose their tape when attacked or gain Condemned
- Videotape Copy increases range at which Survivors gain Condemned from Projection by 2 meters
- Reiko’s Watch increases invisibility duration while Demanifested by 25%
- When hooking a survivor who is carrying a tape, other survivors gain 1 stack of Condemned
- Tape Editing Deck gives survivors a tape at the start of the trial with their target being the furthest from their location. When a tape is inserted into a TV, the survivor will be revealed for 6 seconds
- Projection will not turn TVs off or apply Condemned and TVs turned off by Survivors take 20% longer to turn back on due to Iridescent Videotape
The Blight killer updates
- Blighted Rat increases Rush speed by 2% for each consecutive Rush
- Blighted Crow increases Rush speed by 3% for each consecutive Rush
- Adrenaline Vial increases maximum Rush tokens by 2, maximum Rush look angle by 20 degrees and decreases Rush turn rate by 55%
- Alchemist’s Ring increases Rush duration by 20% for each consecutive Rush
- Compound Thirty-Three increases Rush turn rate by 33% for each consecutive Rush that travels at least 4 meters
- Iridescent Blight Tag enables Rush to be performed without using tokens, caps Rush bonuses after 3 consecutive uses, and has blighted Corruption go on cooldown for 20 seconds after a successful Lethal Rush attack
Perk updates
- Quick Gambit
- See the auras of gens within 36 meters when being chased by the Killer
- Survivors receive a 3-5% speed boost to repair action when working on highlighted generators
- Save the Best for Last
- Become obsessed with one Survivor
- A token is earned for each successful basic attack that is not dealt to the obsession. Each token will grant a 4% decreased successful basic attack cooldown
- Lose 2 tokens when obsession loses health. Tokens cannot be gained when obsession is sacrificed or killed
- Grim Embrace
- Gain a token when a survivor is hooked for the first time. All generators are blocked for 8-12 seconds when you leave a 16-meter range from that hook
- When leaving the hook with a range of 16 meters, block all generators for 40 seconds if you have 4 tokens. Reveal obsession’s aura for 6 seconds.
