Prismatic is the new subclass on the block, bringing together everything our Guardian has learned over the years. Granting access to abilities from multiple different subclasses and introducing the brand-new Transcendance feature, making a Prismatic build is more complicated than you might expect. Don’t worry though, the best Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan build is relatively straightforward but is arguably the strongest Prismatic setup of the bunch.
Paired with the many new Destiny 2 The Final Shape Exotics, especially the unique Exotic class items that mush two Exotic armor pieces together, Prismatic is a very powerful subclass in the right hands. With abilities going off left, right, and center, tackling the Destiny 2 The Final Shape missions, even on Legendary difficulty, is a walk in the park.
Best Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan Build
The best Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan build in PvE is:
- Super - Blade Fury
- Melee - Thunderclap
- Grenade - Shackle Grenade
- Aspect 1 - Drengr’s Lash
- Aspect 2 - Knockout
- Fragment 1 - Facet of Hope
- Fragment 2 - Facet of Bravery
- Fragment 3 - Facet of Balance
- Fragment 4 - Facet of Dawn
- Fragment 5 - Facet of Blessing
- Exotic Armor - Stoicism (Spirit of the Abeyant + Spirit of Verity)
- Exotic Weapon - Quicksilver Storm (with Catalyst)
By combining the incredible crowd control and damage of Titan’s Strand powers with Prismatic’s enhancements, this build has everything you could ever need. Thanks to your Shackle Grenade and Spirit of the Abeyant on the Stoicism Exotic class item, you can easily suspend enemies before taking them out with a fully charged Thunderclap. With Thunderclap being a Light ability and Shackle being Darkness, this combo will also charge Transcendance very well.
Facet of Hope and Facet of Balance help with ability regeneration to help you keep the ball rolling. Meanwhile, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Bravery, and Facet of Blessing ensure you’re dealing maximum damage and staying alive in close range. After all, Prismatic Titan is one hell of a brawler, so you need the added survivability.
If you don’t yet have the Stoicism Exotic class item, then Abeyant Leap is a good substitute, as is Heart of Inmost Light. As for the Exotic weapon, there are plenty of strong choices. However, Quicksilver Storm is an incredibly strong Exotic primary. Given the buffs this build offers to Strand weapons, I recommend using it with its Catalyst equipped. With that said, if you’re struggling to charge your Light Transcendence bar, then removing the Catalyst will make it a Kinetic weapon instead, which charges both Light and Darkness.
Destiny 2 Titan Prismatic Subclass Overview
Like other subclasses, Prismatic lets you pick a handful of different abilities, Aspects, and Fragments to tweak your playstyle. However, what sets Prismatic apart is that it takes abilities from other subclasses - both Light and Dark - and mashes them into one subclass. Keeping track of what’s available to you isn’t easy.
By dealing Light and Dark damage, you’ll build two different ability bars. Once each is fully charged, you can become Transcendent. This is unique to Prismatic and gives you limited-time access to a new grenade, alongside other buffs like increased ability regeneration.
The Titan's Prismatic Transcendance grenade is Electrified Snare:
- Throw an explosive device energized with Strand matter and Arc energy that detonates in a supercharged suspending burst. The suspended target takes heavy damage over time and chains jolting lightning to any nearby targets.
Here are all the Prismatic Titan abilities in Destiny 2:

Combatants that come in contact with your shield are temporarily disoriented. | 3 |
Consecration | While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to launch a wave of Solar energy forward, damaging and scorching targets in front of you as you leap into the air.
