The Nightmare before Christmas and leading man Jack Skellington have finally arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you'd like to meet the skeletal legend in Dreamlight Valley, read on; in this guide, we'll share how to complete the Something Comes A'Knocking quest.
As one of the game's newest free quests, returning players will immediately find Something Comes A'Knocking in their quest logs. Newer players, however, will need to make it to the Forgotten Lands biome first.

Something Comes A'Knocking quest walkthrough
To begin the quest that eventually unlocks Jack Skellington, players should look out for Matryoshka dolls. They're small and difficult to spot - one is guaranteed to spawn in the Plaza, but they've reportedly been seen spawning at random in every biome.
Thankfully, only four Matryoshka dolls are needed. After collecting the dolls, players should pay a visit to Merlin, who provides the next step - searching the Forgotten Lands to find a suspicious tree.
Finding a specific tree in a forest full of them is a tall order, but players should look out for a tall tree that's marked with a pumpkin carving. Assuming you brought all four Matryoshka dolls, they can be placed inside the tree to bring Jack Skellington to the valley.
To finish the Something Comes A'Knocking quest, players will need to find a place for Jack's new home and 5000 Star Coins to complete construction. Chatting to Jack after the construction is finished will make him an official resident of the Valley and mark the quest complete.
