Dragon Age The Veilguard Max Level Cap Explained
Director Corinne Busch confirmed in an interview with RPGSite that Dragon Age The Veilguard's level cap is 50.
"We have a level cap of 50. One of my frustrations with some other games that have similar skill tree systems is that getting up into the specialization might take up absolutely all of your skill points, and then you have nothing else." Busch explained. "We're the exact opposite. You get into your specialization about mid-game, and then you can really branch out."
A level 50 cap is pretty surprising compared to the level cap for the previous three Dragon Age games. Dragon Age: Origins' level cap was 25, Dragon Age 2's was 50, but it is impossible to get without exploits, so in reality, the cap is 28, and Dragon Age: Inquisition's was 27.
The ability to level up until level 50 gives players plenty of space to pursue the specialization and abilities they really want and then branch out in meaningful ways.
