The Auroral Armor is one of the most iconic and must-have items in the Dragon Quest 3 Remake. This armor provides unmatched protection for any Hero.
Its high defense rating makes it one of the best options for reducing physical damage. This article shows you how to get the Auroral Armor.
How to Get the Auroral Armor
Make sure you meet these requirements before starting.
First, you must defeat Baramos, the fearsome boss who serves as a key milestone in the game.
Only after his defeat will you gain access to Alefgard, the World of Darkness, where the Auroral Armor is located.
Now that these steps are done, you can start the quest for this legendary equipment.
The Auroral Armor is inside the Tower of Rubiss, far north of the map.
Sail your ship to the edge of the world. Move cautiously until the towering structure appears.
This tower is where Rubiss is held captive. Before entering, make sure you’ve obtained the Faerie Flute from the town of Kol.
It will come in handy when you need to free Rubiss. Work your way up the tower, taking on enemies and avoiding traps, until you arrive at the fourth floor.
A large grey building is located at the center of this level. This is your destination, but it's home to the toughest part of your journey to claim the armor.
Inside the building, you’ll encounter a room with precarious flooring and movement-altering tiles.
The wobbly floor challenges your accuracy, where even one wrong move could send you falling to a lower level and force you to begin again.
It's best to focus on using the up and down buttons on the D-pad to stay in control and avoid falling off the platform.
Rushing here will make mistakes more likely, so it's better to go slowly. Some tiles trip you up, and these tiles rotate your controls by 90 degrees.
The direction of rotation, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, depends on the arrows on the tiles.
This can make navigation tricky, especially when combined with the unstable floor. But a treasure chest awaits at the end of this tough room.
Tread lightly and open it to receive the Auroral Armor. When you're in the Tower of Rubiss, make sure to explore every corner.
In the room with the Auroral Armor, you’ll also encounter a hidden Chimaera monster.
Don’t forget to collect it before you leave, as it’s a one-of-a-kind experience.
