The moment you step into the village, you'll be struck by an unsettling scene—villagers standing still, frozen in a trance-like sleep.

The village doesn’t give much away about why this is happening, so players will probably be left wondering what to do next.

However, a visit to the southwestern house gives you a solid lead.

An old man on the second floor shares a harrowing story and explains that the villagers are under a curse.

He mentions the Dreamstone, a mystical artifact capable of shattering the enchantment, which must be taken to the Faeries.

To reveal more about the Dreamstone, head south from Norvik and trek through the forest.

Walk west down the dirt trail to find the Faerie Village, where twinkling lights light a grand tree.

This village is as enchanting as it is unwelcoming. Most Faeries refuse to engage with you, and even the Faerie Queen dismisses your presence.

But you'll find an old man near the pond at the heart of the village who will speak with you.

He points out that the Dreamstone is in the Underground Lake and advises you to find it and bring it back to the Queen to lift the curse.

The Underground Lake is southwest of the Faerie Village, near the coastline.

The cave is crawling with deadly creatures, so make sure your group has plenty of healing items and solid gear before heading in.

The first floor (B1) has a simple layout, with side paths full of treasures.

A priest in the southwest corner mentions sorrowful voices from the deeper chambers, hinting at what’s to come.

On the other hand, the second floor (B2) has a healing spring that fully replenishes your party’s HP and MP.

Take the time to search every corner. This floor also holds treasures, such as the Care Riviere, which guards against silencing.

The third floor (B3) has a more open design with several ways to access loot, including a Steel Broadsword that can substantially improve your offensive power.

Finally, the fourth floor (B4) leads you to a chest surrounded by statues.

Inside, you find the Dreamstone and a Faerie Princess letter explaining the tragic backstory behind Norvik's curse.

After obtaining the Dreamstone, teleport back to the Faerie Village.

The Faerie Queen starts dismissive, but her demeanor softens when she reads the letter and notices the Dreamstone.

She is burdened by remorse and provides you with Wakey Dust, a mystical powder designed to break Norvik’s curse.

Head back to Norvik and apply the Wakey Dust when you enter the village.

A short cutscene depicts the villagers awakening from their slumber, confused yet unharmed.

To them, it’s as though they just closed their eyes, and time flew by.

Now that the curse is lifted, Norvik returns to being a bustling village, complete with an Inn and shop.

While the villagers resume their lives as if nothing happened, you have restored their world to its former state.
