Teleport in Dragon Quest 3 Remake is a simple yet powerful spell that allows players to travel to towns they’ve already visited instantly.

This magic cuts out the lengthy backtracking, making exploring way quicker and easier. Here’s how to use Teleport so you can zip around without all the backtracking.

As you continue, walking everywhere can become tedious and time-consuming.

You can teleport in the game using the Chimera Wing (a consumable) and the Zoom spell.

Teleportation spells might not be available early on, but the Chimera Wing is a great backup.

Chimera Wings can be purchased from vendors in most towns and cities. To identify these merchants, look for shops with a wing symbol surrounded by laurels.

Each Chimera Wing costs 25 gold, which can feel expensive early on when resources are limited.

To conserve your gold, you can sometimes find Chimera Wings hidden in pots, barrels, or treasure chests across the land, though they remain relatively rare.

To activate a Chimera Wing, pick it from your inventory. While Chimera Wings eventually become less necessary as you progress, they remain a handy backup option for emergencies.

As you advance in the game, you unlock Zoom, a spell that transforms how you move around.

Unlike Chimera Wings, Zoom is free to use and doesn’t require any consumable items.

The Hero unlocks Zoom automatically at level 7, whereas Mage and Sage characters can access it at level 12.

You can access Zoom through the Spell Menu or the Map Menu.

Most people like using the Map Menu because it allows them to select a spot from a list of previously visited places.

It’s worth noting, however, that Zoom can only be used outdoors.

If you are inside a building or dungeon, you’ll need to step outside to activate the spell.

Zoom not only teleports but also resets the in-game time to daytime. This feature is useful for quests or events that occur at specific times.
